1. Getting Started

Welcome to the MercatoHub vendor community! Becoming a vendor is simple. Complete the application form, provide required business documentation, and our team will review your application within 24-48 hours. Once approved, you can start listing products immediately.

The following products are strictly prohibited on MercatoHub:

• Counterfeit or replica items
• Illegal drugs, weapons, or hazardous materials
• Stolen goods or items that infringe on intellectual property
• Adult content or sexually explicit materials
• Live animals (with exceptions for certain categories with approval)
• Items that promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination

4. Shipping & Fulfillment

Vendors are responsible for shipping orders within the timeframe specified in their store settings. You must:

• Ship orders within 1-3 business days unless otherwise stated
• Provide valid tracking information for all shipments
• Use appropriate packaging to prevent damage during transit
• Communicate proactively with buyers about any delays
• Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours

5. Commission & Fees

MercatoHub charges a commission on each sale based on your product category (typically 5-10%). Premium vendor plans offer reduced commission rates and additional features. There are no listing fees on any plan.

6. Performance Standards

To maintain selling privileges, vendors must meet the following standards:

• Maintain a rating of 4.0 stars or higher
• Respond to customer messages within 24 hours
• Ship 95% of orders on time
• Maintain a cancellation rate below 5%
• Keep return rate below 10%

7. Getting Paid

Payouts are processed weekly (every Friday) via bank transfer or PayPal. There's a 7-day holding period after delivery to account for potential returns. The minimum payout threshold is $25.
